Yorkshire Rose Quilt Show 2001

The show was held in the Japanese Cultural Centre this year. The Centre is near Eglinton and the Don Valley. Access is excellent with no steps or hills from the outside to the display area.

The quilts were in a large area to the left as you entered. The merchants mall where we were located was straight ahead in a small room. Other merchants were to the right of the entrance.

Other than at set up and take down, I was covering the Brampton show, so i didn't have a chance to photograph any of the display. We set up on Friday morning and the show opened that afternoon while Carol and I went over to Brampton to set up.

The number of shows the same weekend must have had an effect on the atendance as it did at Brampton. The guild arranged for a number of very attractive door prizes including some new sewing machines.
