QNL MAGAZINE - NO LONGER AVAILABLE

Quilters are well aware of Quilter's Newsletter Magazine, one of the best and oldest of the American magazines. Now in collaboration with Quilt-Pro Systems and fellow sponsors Benartex Fabrics and Bernina, The publishers of QNL have released a CD of 170 projects selected from issues of their magazine published in 1995 through 1999.

It is simply a gorgeous program making full use of the computer to create an electronic version of their projects.

The CD includes two programs. Block Factory - Quilter's Newsletter Edition, and QNL - Favorites on CD.

The Block Factory creates accurate templates for all projects. You can open it directly and select by issue number and project, or by clicking an icon within the project write-up. The default settings are the original sizes of blocks and templates, but you can scale them up or down as you wish. Requires Windows 95 or newer to run.

QNL - Favorites on CD is read with your browser (Explorer or Navigator) and is readable on either Windows 95 up or Macintosh. The projects are indexed by issue. Opening a project you see full colour examples and instructions, fabric requirements, and templates. Clicking an icon opens Block Factory (on Windows only) and prints off the templates (or paper-piecing papers) for you.
